1. One-paragraph summary
JunkRabbit Miami is a junk removal service for Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach, built for a region where most bulky items live in condo towers rather than at a curb. High-rise units in Brickell, Edgewater, Aventura and Sunny Isles, single-family homes in Coral Gables and Kendall, and everything up the coast to West Palm Beach get the same flat per-item price, carried out from inside. Customers pick items or upload a photo and see an itemized total before booking, with no call needed. Vetted, insured local haulers work 7 days a week from 8am to midnight, with same-day pickup when booked by 4 PM. A standard sofa is $126, a queen mattress $103 and a full truck $732.
2. What JunkRabbit is built for in Miami
Condo towers and freight elevators
Most Miami high-rises have no curb service for bulky items, and building waste contracts usually exclude furniture from the trash room. Buildings expect a certificate of insurance and a booked service-elevator window. JunkRabbit emails a free COI naming the building or association within 1 hour of booking, and the crew works inside the building's rules. See the high-rise guide.
Many municipalities, many rules
The City of Miami, Miami Beach, Hialeah and unincorporated Miami-Dade each run their own collection, and Broward and Palm Beach cities differ again. A pickup from inside doesn't depend on which program covers the address.
Storm season and balconies
Patio furniture, balcony items and storm-damaged belongings pile up around hurricane season. Crews take them from the balcony or garage and handle post-storm sorting; see hurricane-season cleanouts.
Seasonal and out-of-state owners
Snowbirds and out-of-state owners often need a unit cleared without being there. Photos, online booking and the building's COI requirements can all be handled remotely.
3. Verified pricing
Prices below come from the live JunkRabbit pricing engine for Miami, verified on the date at the top of this page. No floor or walk-up surcharge, no elevator fee, no same-day or weekend surcharge, no COI fee, no refrigerant fee. The minimum order is $100. Piles and cleanouts are priced by how much of the 16-cubic-yard truck they fill.

6. How a pickup works
- See the price. Pick items or upload a photo at junkrabbit.miami. The total appears on screen, with no call and no phone number needed to see it.
- Book. Choose an arrival window, any day 8am to midnight, and add a card. Same-day is available if booked by 4 PM.
- (If needed) COI. Add the managing agent at checkout; the certificate goes out within 1 hour.
- Pickup. A vetted, insured local hauler comes inside, takes items from any floor, disassembles if needed and carries everything out. You get text updates on the day.
- Price check. If there are extra items that weren't in the booking, the crew shows the updated price and waits for your approval before loading them.
- Disposal. We try to donate usable items when local charities accept them and recycle whatever we can; refrigerants are recovered from fridges and AC units.
7. vs Miami-Dade bulky-waste pickup
In Miami-Dade, putting furniture out is legal only when a bulky-waste collection is scheduled for that address on that date; dropping it with no appointment is illegal dumping. Many single-family trash accounts include a limited number of scheduled bulky collections, but each municipality runs its own program, and electronics, refrigerant appliances, renovation debris, tires and household hazardous waste are commonly excluded. Condo residents usually can't use curb pickup at all. Check with whoever bills your trash service before anything goes to the curb.
If you have a house on a municipal route, a few accepted items and time to wait for the appointment, the scheduled pickup is the cheapest choice. JunkRabbit covers the rest: condo and high-rise units, excluded items like TVs and fridges, large loads over your allowance, and anything that has to go today. 8. vs national operators
National franchises such as 1-800-GOT-JUNK and Junk King typically quote by truck volume and confirm the final price once the crew sees the job. JunkRabbit publishes a flat price for each item online, so the total is known before booking, and the job is done by a vetted, insured local hauler. There is no stairs fee and no same-day surcharge.
